A Gift of learning

On AWOL’s bicycle township tour in Masiphumelele we visit the Masivelani Creche. On the last day of school we delivered a Christmas ‘gift of learning’ to the preschoolers. Education being elected as a priority by the community and reading being vital for young childrens development, we bought books for children to take home for the summer holidays.

Masiphumelele Corporation has a seedlings programme and also offers financial support, mentoring and counselling to individuals from the community who need bursaries to pursue specialized areas of study or to complete higher education.
