AWOL’s award winning Bicycle Township Tour features on the City of Cape Town responsible tourism video which will be displayed at Cape Town’s soccer stadium. Our township tour enables visitors to feel more in touch with the community as they travel through on a bicycle seat. On the tour we visit traditional healers, a local creche where tour proceeds go towards the betterment of their facilities and a local African home for tea and vetkoek. In 2006 BEN was the winner of the Responsible Tourism Awards.
